I was going to start a thread about this, but WTF is going on? A black cop shoots a black dude, who was armed, however; his family claims he was in his car, reading a book and waiting for his kids.
This morning, on the morning news, I heard one of his daughters say something like "they shot him cause he was black"... And based on how its being reported and how people talk about it on social media, that's the exact perception they are creating and it is doing nothing but causing problems.
The media will talk about it, have discussions with people about it, etc. All that does is add fuel to the fire, but it also helps ratings. As long as people are thinking cops are targeting black people, it will create a dangerous environment.
