It was fantastic. He sang it with class and made it his own sound. If you didn’t like that, you’re a heathen.

It's expected for a professional artist to do their own interpretation at a big show like the Super Bowl. Nothing to complain about.
I only get a little tired when I'm at some regular weeknight college or MLB game, and instead of letting the crowd join in the traditional version we have to stand there waiting for some rando school musical star to hit the high note like they're auditioning for a real production.

I am usually an anthem purist, but I thought that rendition was fitting with the city/artist etc. I thought it was well done.

I’ve been betting on it since 2010

Didn’t take a knee, didn’t stop doing what I was doing in the grill either. Didn’t care.

i'd always bet the over on the anthem.
it's a prop bet though, so it should be pretty limited in how much you can bet right?

You never heard of this before? I don't, but I always bet in the coin toss. Its 50/50 chance payout is +100. I've won the past 3 years, but this year I had heads, it was tails.

It was all NOLA STYLE. Great.

It was good and soulful, not great or powerful.

I enjoyed it.
Parts were excellent and overall I thought it was good.

I'm the same. Yes, the first two minutes was pretty good but I agree that the last part was him stalling for the flyover.
That part was pretty nasty.
NFL won't let me imbed it so here's the YouTube link.

Bring back Whitney Houston. I hate to admit it but Beyonce holds the number 2 spot. That said, Whitney Houston makes me choke up, I know as long as I live that I'll never hear a better national anthem.

Whitney came up before autotune and digital effects in the studio.
