He’s clever, clean, humble and personable.

He won’t make politics his only punch line. He’ll bring real family wholesome content to the main stream.

I know the medium is dying so change it up a little. Have a monologue, which he’s really good at, then some type of skit/news anchor bit to talk about current events like Daily Show or Weekend Update on SNL. Then have a long form “podcast” style conversation with a celebrity.

Respectfully disagree. Watch him on Rogan. He is great at telling stories and would kill the monologue but he is not particularly funny off the cuff with interviews.

The late night shows should be canceled and made illegal

People should go to bed early so they can be on time for work and church

He was awful as well during his appearance on ManningCast.

Theo will be too busy banging Diego Pavia's mom to do any late night shows.

I’d prefer Nate do more of his Nateland podcast and standup instead

Do you want him to make politics the meat of the show but you don’t want it yo be political? What current event would he talk about that’s not political? Taylor swift going to a football game? He’s a decent comedian but he wouldn’t be good at hosting TV.

Nate is great at being a comedian and doing his standup routines. I don't think he'd be good hosting a late night show. Plus, then he'd do less standup, which would be a bad thing anyway.

Why would you want to destroy Nate’s career like that?

Also consider this. He'd need to create content five days a week. Late night can be a grind for the host, and a strong writing room is critical to its success. I ask for evidence that Nate has successfully demonstrated his ability to create content on that level and work with people who will be writing his jokes. Plus, any network would need to give him a LONG leash to be able find his footing in a new, untested arena where sponsor dollars and corporate promotion remain supreme.

I understand he's a professional comedian. Late night is a different ball game.

Some people just want some entertainment without the slant. Nate delivers that

Most late night shows are only new 4 nights a week now, taking a page from Howie Stern.

But you could shorten the monologue to just a few jokes of the news of the day, but not be political. Focus more on bits and sketches and interviews. Heck even reincarnate Headlines to Stupid Things We Post on Facebook.

Lastly, it is an art form that is dying. I would be willing to bet ABC did better in the ratings with reruns of Celebrity Family Feud in that time slot.

Theo Vonn has highest Belly laughs per minute of all time with me.

Dave Chapelle
Norm McDonald
Chris Rick
Kevin Hart
Robin Williams
Eddie Murphy
George Carlin
Dana Carvey

Love them all! Belly laughs with most. Theo Vonn is special.

He’s about as conversationally funny as anyone. He’d be awkward as hell for a while and the average viewer wouldn’t get it but I bet he is talented enough to figure it out. It would never happen but I’d 100% start watching again nightly for the first time in 20 years.
