Yeah, just goes to show the kind of trash at LSU now. Fighting in itself is trashy as frick, but as others have said, there's a difference between two people bowed up at one another throwing punches, and kicking someone in the face when they're on the ground out of it.
Yeah because LSU is the only university on the face of the earth that has fights take place at the bars around them.
Nothing has changed, there isn't more fighting now than they use to have and kicking someone in the face when they are on the ground isn't something that just started to happen.
I've been out in Lafayette and saw an all out brawl. This was almost 20 years ago.. I think it was outside of a place called Cowboys. Same shite. People kicking people when they are down, etc.
This was years ago, but I remember my brother going to a LSU vs Ole Miss game in Ole Miss and telling me they saw a fight while leaving the stadium. He said they looked like college kids, but they all had Ole Miss colors on and they were going at it. One guy was trying to break it up and someone came from behind and plum knocked him out.
A guy I know, who is a huge Michigan fan, had an opportunity to go to a Michigan game (he lives here in South Louisiana). At the time, he had graduated from LSU about 2 or 3 years earlier, so he was went out with the people he was with, to some of the college bars in Ann Arbor. He told me they were sitting at the bar. It was kind of early so it wasn't packed. All of a sudden these two girls by the pool tables started yell and screaming calling each other bitch, slut, etc. They start going at it.
One of their boyfriend's tried to break it up, the other girl's boyfriend came running across the bar and knocked the other boyfriend out and next thing you know, there are 3 or 4 guys going at it.. Several girls started going at it..One girl got her shirt ripped and she took it off and was ready to fight in her bra before it was broken up.
Seriously, I can go on about fights i've seen or fights ive heard about, somewhere around college campuses, some were not, but you are truly ignorant if you think this is a "LSU thing".
I hate when people will post about something that happens somewhere and they are like "this how it is at _______". Like its the only place in the world were drunk people act like drunk people.

I know it sounds bad to say, but thank god nobody started shooting. At least they fought with fists instead of bullets.

I never remember Tuesday night being a big night at JLs? Im old though
Wine night baw
Bogie's penny pitcher 8-10 then to JL's wine night was common. I usually was kicking down bogie's door during the summers so I rarely made it to JL's.
I was a mover between classes in the summers. One Wednesday, I puked red wine and old green beer all over bathroom at Lamer's office.

So you're saying this didn't go on back in the day? Were you around in the late 90's?

Can't wait to see some mug shots. Last brawl I saw at tiger land they had a few people who clearly were not affiliated with either group fighting(probably lived in the section 8) jump in and kick people only once they were knocked out. Didn't care from which group.

WBRZ has picked up on this story now.

Dude with the pants and no shirt who kicked him in the face is a total piece of shite, and only slightly worse than the dude in the red shirt who kicked the guy's head into the wall, after he was clearly dazed and out of it.
Those two are royally fricked, legally speaking. Any self defense claim went out the window with that video. DA needs to throw the book at them. I'd start at attempted manslaughter for red shirt brother and shirtless man-bun.
