The one thing I don't like about the ESPN article is how they gloss over, in less than a paragraph, that intravaginal treatments are well established and accepted medical practices for pelvic floor treatments.

WTF!! How could he molest at least a hundred girls for decades and no one says anything until now? Sometimes it happened with the mother present. No dr should be allowed to examine a minor child without another adult present. The whole story is crazy.

Many of these programs for kids involve making a life for them that is unhealthy even in the best circumstances. The parents are often run into debt, and need it to pay off some how. Coupled with obsessive personalities, and you'll get parents who ignore the abuse in front of them.

Is this really the only recent thread on this? It has gotten crazy, these women are (rightfully so) out for vengeance.
They are calling out everyone, the coaches, officials, even the US Olympic Committee and US Gymnastics.
Ally Raisman's testimony was pretty stellar, she calls out the CEO of US Gymnastics by name and says several times that talk is cheap and worthless, and they need to take action now to make sure this never happens again or they're all essentially full of shite

No pedophile can act on THIS level without lots of people going along with it.
That is what makes this story, like the Sandusky story, so sick.
Dozens and dozens of adults KNOW what is going on and they do nothing.

This stuff is common in our society. There are ample stories like the Dutroux Affair, Nebraska Boystown fiasco, the muslims forcing girls into prostitution in England, and the Penn State thing where tons of people are diddling kids. They'll keep doing it too because no one ever really gets in trouble. A lot of people just deny it is even happening.
Dutroux Affair even had pictures of the people sexing the kids but hardly anyone got in trouble. But that's because it was judges, police, lawyers, politicians, doctors, etc doing it. Who is to punish them?

I have a buddy whose daughter went to the camp. She never really got close to making the team or anything, but was good enough regionally to be asked. She has since quit gymnastics. He said the same things. How fricked some of those parents were to tolerate what went on. His daughter never saw a doctor never had reason to.
He just said that a lot of these parents could do time as well.
Karolyis are gonna get sued. EVERYBODY is gonna get sued. And it’s one of those rare instances where I don’t have a problem with it. frick all of them. To preserve The Program. They hid this guy!!? Sports medicine docs are a fricking dime a dozen. Any of them would jump at the chance to be Team USA team MD or Michigan State Team Doctor. And I’m sure you could find that the vast majority would not foot and finger frick their patients.

UF's former gymnastics coach, the one that won 3 nattys in a row, departed for USAG. Rhonda Fein I think is her name. I haven't seen her connected with any of this so far.
