She notified management at her "Views of Brentwood" apartment complex, which sprayed her unit. Wright said the dangerous spiders came back. "We were finding brown recluses left and right, in our bed, in the ceiling, in the iron, in her shoe," said Wright. She is in the process of moving out of her apartment and asked the complex to break her lease. "They said the only thing they can do is give me a 60-day notice and I will have to fulfill that," said Wright. Wright said the 60-day notice would require her to pay $2,200.

Yeah I would look into the tenant laws. No way she can’t break that lease for free.

In the article she was bitten several times, and had to go to Hospital. I would think a decent lawyer could get her out of this for about three fiddy.

"We are sorry your apartment is infested with rattlesnakes and grizzly bears. You will need to stay for 60 more days.
Good luck."
That wouldn't fly and this shouldn't either. Those little brown frickers are bad news.
And what reasonable landlord wants to accept the liability of ordering a tenant to stay in that apartment? It would seem more likely that they are forcing her to leave immediately.

I couldn't walk, I couldn't move and I could barely swallow," said Wright. "They said I was forming bubbles in my lungs, which could have caused pneumonia, and they said if I would have waited a few more hours or maybe until the next morning if I would have made it, I would have had a stroke."
yeah , frick that
yeah , frick that

They’re reclusive, so this shouldn’t be a big problem.

Yeah she’s lazy then. There’s no way I would spend one night in that place.

I'd be having none of that. People that run apartment complexes are the vampires of the Earth.

Hopefully she notified them in writing.
People, always put it in writing!
Damn chewy. Guess I should learn to like blood? I like the hours a vampire keeps much better than mine.

That seems wierd to have that many brown recluses. Maybe she needed to clean her house.

That's just creepy and scary. I'd be out of there in a flash and hiring an attorney quickly.
I wonder if other tenants have them? Seems strange that so many would only be in one apartment.
