Regular house spiders are one thing, but with a dangerous spider like that frick it I'm gone.

Usually, if you have them...you have lots. Those frickers breed like crazy and the females don't really leave the nest. Since they are cannibals, they are never without food.
I'd suspect she brought in some firewood or something with them...then they just took over.
I had something of an infestation once, we were killing them under beds every night.
