Many of those teams do do that. They are very particular on how their areas are set up, and strive for consistency in that every week. It's a sport where time is of the essence, and if one thing is out of place, it costs them very valuable time. Many likely don't pay attention to the garage door rope, but I'm sure there are some teams that do. Surely you've worked for an anal retentive boss before that nitpicks over very minute details.
