This could look like a noose if you are overly sensative .... at a glance.
It is tied in such a manner that it cannot slip tighter.
Also, a real hangman's noose has 13 wraps. That one has 7.

That may be part of the problem. Confederate flags, nooses, and other casually displayed symbols. I wouldn’t have freaked out seeing it, but if they are trying to throw off the racist symbolism, they probably shouldn’t have nooses hanging around.

It’s like a noose has never been used for any other purpose than for vigilantes to hang a black person with. Like, throughout the history of the west, the only time they used a noose to hang someone was when it was a black person. It couldn’t be like idle time hanging around the shop and someone looks over at a rope and decides to fashion a noose out of it to kill time or whatever. No, it has to be some deep nefarious reasoning for that to occur.
