Yes, got it from some alabama news site. Sent to wife who could no longer read the attachment or see it. Wierd. Said it was like a serpentine belt.
I figured it was going to end up being some bit of packing from something to do with their equipment or something someone just mistook for something else.

A college campus, even a locker room, is one thing. But a NASCAR garage; you're talking about an event where people are driving cars over 200 mph, inches from the wall, inches from each other. Something on that car is tampered with, you can get killed. At the very least, you are at major risk of not finishing the race. You are absolutely going to know exactly what is in the garage, and everyone in and out. It isn't a matter of "social discourse" or whatever, it's a matter of safety.
So if there's a noose in there, they either knew it was (and put it there themselves), or they better go over the car and surplus parts with a fine toothed comb.
