Banning someone for race or skin color is illegal.

I don't care if an organization is trying to "kill its core audience" or not, but I do care about following common sense and following the law.
There simply is no place in society to have a program, internship, whatever enriching endeavor it is, to be exclusionary based on race, gender, etc.
Our society has to get back to merit based selections. We have to all have a feeling of being selected for something, it is because we earned it, not were given it based on skin color.
Seriously, what are these chosen blacks, etc gonna talk about on day one by the head of the internship?
"Congratulations on being black and welcome to our no whites club"

It’s a dieing sport.
Less and less gear heads that like to tweak with big motors.
The people who can cannot afford the dirt tracks cannot grow.
Old days rat rods, cars with fast V8 & trunks to hold moonshine, and being able to build a fast car on a limited budget was what started it all.
I don’t see it going to electrical vehicles.

Since you are a racing guy, maybe you can explain this to me. What happened to NASCAR? It had a spell where it was wildly popular, then it seemed to dry up.
As an example, my sister and brother-in-law were gung-ho Jimmie Johnson fans and they would take at least 1 trip a year to see a race, then they just quit going and lost interest altogether. I asked, but she really couldn't give me a reason why. But it seemed to happen to a lot of people at the same time. Did it just grow too fast and the bubble burst?
