instantaneous launch window. Can't push it at all. Had to happen at 4
Can you expound upon that for an imbecile like me?

They have to time the launch up perfectly to meet with the International Space Station.
ah ok. Makes sense. Hopefully one day we can get the fuel/propulsion issue fixed where we don’t have to have an exact time.

Anyone can help me with why fuel can’t stay on the ship?

Weather looks rainy Saturday too

Much rather see them scrub it today than to try something risky especially being a manned mission.

Cryogenic fuels expand rapidly as they get warm. Their expansion could damage the spacecraft.

Someone with a science background will have to comment why they can’t push liftoff 10 minutes. I would guess it has to do with the fuel.
In a sense.
It would be fuel prohibitive to try to launch outside of the window.
To answer your question the issue is over the orbital rendezvous timing with ISS. they can fudge minor alterations but not the station Tranversing 10% of the planet from the planned launch times. Station also doesn’t spin over the same spots over and over again so they have to wait for the station to be back in the interception location.

They learned their weather lesson after Challenger.

It is Florida in late May. Is there a day when it isn't rainy?

I'm not a scientist but it seems dangerous to leave a football-field sized bomb loaded with its explosives...just lying around like that.

No, as I stated earlier, they learned their weather lessons with Apollo 12. They forgot them with Challenger.

It’s like leaving gas in your mower. They pull the string and it won’t start.
