Stanley, ID in the summer is amazing.
Nobody on this board is rich enough to live there, but you can visit.

Williston ND is like heaven on earth in the summer.

Yep, it's 75 and blue skies with a little breeze here in the Puget Sound region. The thing is, even if it was 100, if you are in the shade you are not hot. This is pretty much the main reason I don't live in LA

We used to spend the summers in Stanley in the 90s. It wasn't very developed and certainly wasn't any place for the wealthy.
I assume its changed, but I would love to take my kids one summer.
Great memories.

San Diego. All year around.

Mexico City. Kind of counter intuitive to head South to beat the heat but it’s at elevation and very nice in the summers.

Spokane/CDA metro has the best summer weather I’ve ever encountered.

Look no further, it's 10 degrees cooler in Grand Isle right now at a balmy 85 degrees.

Calgary.
I'll be there next Thursday. It's going to be 69 glorious degrees. Inject that straight into my veins.

I have retired neighbors that share a house with his brother on the Minnesota/Wisconsin border. His brother stays there May, June, July, him in his wife leave in July and don't return until October. They have been doing this for over 20 years.

We’re planning on 3 month stays in the summer for the foreseeable future. This is the last one here as far as I’m concerned.

Are you up the bay or down the shore?

It is now. Looking at Realtor, you can get a little less than half an acre for $695k. Or if you don't want to build, you can buy a house for $3 Million.
We went July 2018 and it was gorgeous. Got cool in the evenings.

I’ve always imagined northern Michigan in the summer must be awesome
UP/Northern WI is great, but the water is still freezing in late Aug. So essentially never warms up enough to where your nuts don't come out of hibernation for days.
