I really didn’t think I would see a use for the 360 camera when I got my truck. But I’m starting to find myself using it a lot more than I thought I would.

Agree. I pride myself on being a consistent speed driver. This thing makes me that annoying one that you have to pass, then passes you, then you have to pass all when you are driving a consistent speed.

There are a few things mentioned that are nice like car play/Android Auto, rearview cameras.

One thing I never thought id want, but now will not purchase a vehicle without is the heated steering wheel. Also heated seats, not really for cold weather, but for long trips and my back starts getting a little tight, I'll throw the back heater on and get some quick relief.

Well if it hadn't slowed down you would have run into the back of the van so it did exactly what it is supposed to do.

Usually, if my cruise is set and Im coming up on a car, i change lanes and pass them. Instead, i never catch them and just slow down.

Love the rearview camera. Hate the auto start/stop

Other than that, I'm old school and like knobs and switches. I hate all these touch screen stereos that don't have a volume knob just to crank it up or down quickly. Same w A/C.

Was in a rental Lincoln navigator, and they didn't have button for child lock windows which my adult passengers didn't appreciate.

Surprising to me that people like adaptive cruise. It pisses me off so bad. My loves:
Android Auto
Heated wheel and seats
Back up camera(especially as a boat owner)

Kinda wish I had the Ford unlock buttons, but then I would have to be driving a Ford.

Carplay, self dimming mirrors, auto high beams, and remote start.

And internal combustion engines!

Auto high/low beam headlights
Car play
Ventilated seats

I’m indifferent on adaptive cruise control. It’s nice in road trips going down the interstate, but not so great on state highways where people are not entering off a ramp. It will slam on brakes when just coasting while the entering car gets up to speed is sufficient.

Absolutely. I'm in a GMC now, but I really miss my keyless entry buttons on my old F150 so I don't have to carry my keys to the hunting stand or into the gym.

Something I always said I didn’t need. Then I bought a truck with it. Don’t know how I ever lived without it.

Apple Play – I know this is going away in a lot of vehicles, but it’s a great OS, for lack of a better word.

why is it going away?
that feature is freaking great on long trips. having maps and routes being updated in real time is a freaking godsend.

Our 4Runner has this… but when I try to hit cruise control on the interstate it doesn’t take. I don’t understand how it works.

You have to be going over a certain speed before you can set it. If you're in morning/evening rush, you can set it at like 45 and your car will basically just keep you right behind the person you're following and you won't hit them even if they come to a stop. It's pretty handy in traffic, but I hate it at high speeds on the interstate. I think it's because most of us get much closer to the car ahead of us before switching lanes than what the computer wants. It's a settings thing, but I get aggrevated when I finally notice I'm never catching up the car ahead until I realize I'm going about 5mph slower than I wanted to. I turn the adaptive cruise off for that kind of driving.

Really appreciate the speed limit recognition feature. Not always easy to know the speed limit especially when out of town.

My wife's first Mazda CX5 in 2015 had a giant screen but wasn't a touch screen and use a knob/button interface between the shifter and the arm rest where your hand naturally rests when you have you arm on the arm rest. Much of the negative reviews of the car were because of this non-touch interface. Mazda put in because it's much safer to use and you don't have to take your eyes off the road to interface with android auto/ car play. Thought it was a negative at first but after a few days of getting used to it I now think every car should have this interface. Her new 2023 CX5 also has it in there. Supposedly going away in new interations of the car but that's a shame because it's so drastically superior to the touch interface as far as distracted driving is concerned.
