Lawn Darts and Klakers. Some children got skewered playing the dart game. I think there may have been a couple of deaths.
Some kids were getting broken arms from the Klackers, which some think were the precursor of modern day truck nuts.

Another was the video rental store. I followed along from the first mom and pop type stores, to increasing sized regional and then national chains, then streaming came along and video stores crashed.
This wasn’t exactly a flash in the pan. Video stores thrived from around the mid 80s with the advent of VCRs until the mid 2010’s after streaming took over.
I think back to Pogs. These were huge for about a year back in the mid 90s. Ever store sold caps and slammers. And then they disappeared almost instantly.

Those basketball shoes that you could pump up with air. It was a cool concept, I don’t know why they aren’t still around.
Reebok still makes them

Does anyone remember those... I forget the name of them, but they were like electronic calendars that were sold in the early 2000s. They were organizers I guess.
Anyway, I remember a lot of people got them for graduation for like 2 or 3 years straight then they just kind of fell off the map.
Iphones killed Razars and blackberries.

Did Waze kill the need for Radar Detectors as well?
I love Waze but it is only as good as a previous Wazer reporting the cop. Waze also doesn't give much of a heads up.

Creed.
Has any band ever gone from exploding in popularity to “hide every sign that you ever owned their CD” as quickly as they did?

Joe Biden got 82 million votes without campaigning at all, and now everybody knows he’s a demetia addled shell run by cultural marxist handlers.

Palm Pilot was one brand of the device. I think there were others.
