Drew Brees.

I know some of the stuff he said at the end of his career upset people (both sides, about the anthem and its meaning for him, and then him apologizing for it).

As a 13 year old kid living in New Orleans then displaced after Katrina to never return to the only home I knew? That dude became my hero after the 2006 season. You add in 2009, and the emotional hooks were set.

Dude was a living legend in my later childhood, and when he goes it'll feel like that's the end of that chapter of my life other than family that I hope is still here.

I'm sure a lot of early 90s NOLA born/raised kids will be hit hard by that one.

Honestly? Most of the ones I had any particular attachment have already died.

Ford, Goldblum, and Sam Neil might the one ones left

Donald J Trump - the man is a patriot, exposed the fake MSM and corruption in Ukraine, fired Comey, built a great economy w/historic low unemployment and inflation under 2%, passed huge tax cuts, wiped out ISIS, donated his salary, started no wars, and kept HRC out of the White House - and he is willing to risk everything, including jail, for his country.

No joke. Paul Ruben’s death was shocking and upsetting to me. Grew up with pee wee. Had the pull string doll and other playhouse toys.

Bruce Willis for me. I grew up on Detective John McClane

Same same.. that will hit hard, and probably be sooner than later.. for me, i go all the way back to David Addison with him, still his best character IMO.. as a kid growing up in the 1980s, there simply wasn’t a cooler cat walking the planet .

Skynyrd is my fav band of all time. Elvis is my favorite solo entertainer of all time. I was going into 9th grade when Elvis died. Skynryd crashed a couple of months later.

I'm 61 now. I still have my parents, both in their 80's. When they pass, it will matter. No "STAR", sports or movie will affect me. Too many people who impacted my younger life that really matter.
