Had this happen to me at The Varsity. Made me so mad. Apparently, the girl who was flirting with me had gotten in a fight with her douche bf earlier that night, and her friend was trying to keep her from going home with me out of spite. Everyone involved was very drunk, but I was still disappointed. She was literally trying to type her number into my phone when her friend dragged her away from the bar.

I'll go you one better, I was a safety in hs and at a time where desegregation was just being implemented and blacks and whites were sort of feeling each other out, on our senior night I picked off a pass late in the game for a sure pick six(game was well in hand,) there was no one close to me except our defensive end(black dude, really great man,) with about 20yards to go I slowed down and flipped the ball back to him to let him take it in, everyone in the the whole stadium, both sides, stood up and cheered for several minutes, was a hero at school for a while
