Hell no I couldn’t do it. On top of the bugs, pretty sure I read one time they were here a guy set a trap and caught a fawn, green jeans pulled up and wrote the guy several citations.

Step one: coat body with stinky arse "Black Jack" mud if available in highly sandy area

Step two: noodle catfish, hoping not to get arm bitten off by Alligator snapping turtle

Step three: nah... F-that! high population of brown bears, humongous hogs, gators, gnats, rattlers, moccasins, ...NOPE!

No way I could survive a single day alone in the marsh without protection. frick 60 days.

The coastal marshes in Louisiana are one of the most biologically productive areas on Earth. Very easy to survive there. But for you...

One of the older ones had a baw from Louisiana. I think he tapped out and was on one of the redemption ones.

Seemed like a good dude.

He said they had a bunch of Thermacells in a ring around the camp to help with the mosquitoes, for example.

Those swamp bird mosquitoes laughed at that and came right in for a meal. I have been in the basin hunting in full head to toe covers covered in Cutter and still had bugs biting me in winter. If they did those 60 days in July and August, someone is going to die!

Deer flies and gnats are the worst IMO. I think I could handle mosquitos with a. Little mud and smoke from a fire

it would be better to be dropped off in NBR and a lot harder to survive for sure but they wouldnt last 12 hrs and the camera crew would be the first to get murdered

IT's not that hard to survive in the swamps. There's food everywhere for you to catch.
The problem is the mosquitoes. There's no way in hell i'd sleep outside in September in the swamp, much less do it naked. And these people don't even get paid much.

They had two twins from New Orleans on the show last year. Both of them had pregnant wives at home, and this is who they had to hang around with naked for 3 weeks.

I tried to camp in the Wax once for a teal hunt when I had no cares. Almost died three times.
