Read the latest hilarious shite and guess who it is from:
"I remember when I used to believe being friends with men when I was married meant I was a Jezebel... Then I got out of an abusive relationship with a sociopath, left an oppressive church environment, and got into therapy. NOW I have women in my life who encourage relationships with their husbands. I have single AND married men who speak life and truth into me. Now -on the flip side- I worry about these men who can't even trust themselves (or whose women can't trust them) to be around another woman without basically raping her in his mind instead of remaining faithful to the one he VOWED to love, honor, and cherish."

I wonder about these people who vow to take care of the elderly then steal half their estate with a will their family never knew about.

Thieves come in all sorts of colors, but for Gravy to downplay is typical of people who are...RACIST.

This greedy frick gets $104k per year to do nothing. That's not enough for her. She's gotta swindle the elderly too.

And meanwhile, something that might have been said by a white judge to a back lady gets the attention.
Gravy, do you want to be known as a racist? Well, yes or no, that is what you are.

Bravo, Nakamoto...by the way. Those cows are guilty as hell.

So white people are sticking up for a black family that has gotten ripped off and the white people are racist according to fat frick Gravy. Is this the alternate reality we live in now? WTF?

Do any white folks work at the CoA?
No. And let me say when I get to the age where I am hiding my own Easter eggs I hope to God the Council on Aging isn't in charge of me.

No wonder that law school gets so much shite on this board. If one of my professors from law school did this, the next time the school called me and asked for my annual donation I couldn't give it to them while they employed someone like that

Pull his twitter account up and read the last thing that he wrote. Answers it all.

According to Gravy, if you're white, then you're a racist. This man is so delusional that it borders on insanity.
Sadly, him and those who share his views will play a major role in local politics for as long as Mayor Broome is in office.

You are 100% correct. Gravy thinks it's racist to point out corruption if it involves a black person. It's just crazy. They don't want any accountability at all. None.
The fact that Broome surrounds herself with these type of idiots is scary as shite, but we all pretty much knew baton rouge was going down the toilet when she was elected.

Read the latest Advocate story. They are lining up to back this chick including the Board Chief who is the guy who hires and fires. Unfrickingbelievable that they would support this crook.
Wouldn't be surprised if most of them engage in activity like this.
CoA is a cesspool. Just burn it all down.

Yeah. This doesn't seem to be a one time type deal.

This. I wonder how much she is making on this racket. I hope more people step forward.

This story is going to get very interesting when they likely find out there are more seniors either having this trust arrangement or having been solicited to create one.

Yeah. This doesn't seem to be a one time type deal.

did y'all all see the white paper i posted earlier in this thread about warning signs of elder abuse?
this professor who is an alleged expert on elder law didn't take 3 minutes to google the issues?

The only thing that would lend me to believe this was her first attempt was calling the deceased's family before the body was even cold to inform them of her position in the estate.
Someone with experience is more patient.

i agree, here
i honestly can't imagine this sort of behavior applied to a historical scheme, would have never been brought to light previously
odds are she developed a relationship with the old lady, the old lady had issues with her family, and it kind of evolved into this. i don't think she was truly trying to swindle the elderly woman's estate, BUT she should have known better. the attorney nCERTAINLY should have known better

Clark doesn't have a case in this situation. I explained it in the other thread.
quote:
Clark-Amar has no case really. In the article it says that the family withdrew all monies out of the bank when they found out Clark-Amar was the executor. You can only withdraw money from a deceased person's account if you are the estate executor, signer or a co-owner on the account. I'm assuming a family member was on the account as a co-owner. Therefore, the money can be legally claimed as their own because on the account the are the CO-OWNER. Any account with a co-owner or beneficiary CAN NOT go through probate because it is not apart of the estate. P.S. - Always put a loved one on the account as a beneficiary or co-owner. Those designations proceeds an executive status. This post was edited on 3/31 at 9:21 am
