Mysterious ‘beast’ terrifies town after killing two dogs

Looks like a Tchichtn’al’a
It translates, roughly, to long shadow beast.
Legends tell of a thing that lurks in dark places and comes out at night to feast on the living. Not human, but something much older and much darker. A pet of the elder gods, the Tchichtn’al’a are said to have a long, bony body with extremely long limbs relative to its torso. A doglike face with jagged teeth and human eyes, it kills without mercy and is said to hunt children and the elderly if it has a chance.
It has the ability to run on two legs like a man for a short period of time, but its long front limbs cause it to lumber.
Its fur is so short and sleek it seems hairless, but its inky, oily black fur help it dissapear Into the darkness, only to strike those who pursue it from the shadows.
