If you're old enough to buy one why do need you permission?

From your damn wife

ETA:

Tell Toddy to let you buy a .380

Everyone needs to know how to use a gun. I’m sorry she doesn’t understand.

Why is she the boss of you? Who is in charge of protecting your family? I don’t tell my husband what to do.

Remind her that she can’t tell you what to do by giving her a gun. Get one of the stupid pink ones if that helps. She’ll like it. If she doesn’t, divorce her.

If your wife can keep you from buying a gun, you probably don't need one anyway.

Didnt read it anywhere, but are there small children in the house?

That’d be a pertinent piece of info.

Gotta love all these macho guys.....marriages go both ways and throwing your dick over your shoulder doesn’t always work.

That said, I’m allowed to own firearms;)

Traditionally either your dad or your grandpa would teach you how to use one, preferably by age 10.

Sounds like you just weren't raised right.

I wear the pants in my family, and I have Mrs Misanthrope's permission to say that.

Buy online after research. I've gotten some good weapons at very good prices on Sportsman's Guide. They even offer three or four pay with card and ship to your FFL when you place your order.

If you need permission.......dont buy one...would be wasted metal on a cuck, it would be heavy to hold.

Yeah I don't get this, why would you be refused on buying something of less than 1,000 dollar value?

You baws are so easily triggered.

I grew up handling firearms. My first experience was hunting quail with my grandfather at the age of 8. I own a couple of rifles and a shotgun that was his. I have not fired a pistol in many years. And it's not me, it's the wife. She has a raging phobia about them and doesn't want one in the house. Our kids are grown now, so I am thinking now is the time. Only way she is going to let me is if I can show her I took a "gun safety class" or some shite.

My wife and her family are strong catholic conservatives but fear guns. It’s mostly a safety thing. I can understand but you counter it by using the good old fashioned Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell rule.

Ok, I'll quit being a smartass.

Get the class BUT.....

for BOTH of you. Seriously. It will help her even if she never actually gets one.

I'd recommend MP shield 9 mm for the money. Pretty accurate. That, or a glock.
