Does he carry a lot of weapons around? My buddy married a Ukrainian girl and his father in law doesn’t go anywhere unarmed, and I’m not talking handguns, the dude keeps a crossbow in his trunk and once brought an ax to defend himself in his hotel room.

Mates Ukrainian father in law here for 3 more weeks (his stay got extended).
My relationship with Anichka has clearly suffered during this awkward arrangement but the real tragedy is the guest bedroom he is staying in. Because Nikolai does not wear deodorant and showers only once or twice per week, the bedroom has literally become a no go zone and I have to hold my nose everytime I walk past.
I would guess that the smell is essentially baked into the carpet and mattress by now (luckily both need updating anyhow).
I am so miserable mates - a captive in my own home. He is constantly pacing the house and my temperament and general irritation with life fester with each footfall. and we no longer speak or make eye contact. I would not wish such an arrangement upon my worst enemy

We have fought frequently. I basically spend my days with headphones on and my evenings anesthetized by weed. The good news is I'm frequently at the gym so I'm as fit as I've been in ages.

Tried all that - hes too irritating to have a genuine friendship with. I legit resent him and theres no going back. It's all about survival at this point.
