you could cut it out today and the country would still be trillions in debt
Hell you could dissolve the US military tomorrow and the US would still be trillions in debt.
I think what you are referring to is "deficit"

Pretty sure the boomers who ran the last 2 Dem Presidential terms were responsible for this
The last 2? Did Biden have a geriatric mouse in his pocket?

A record-breaking 159.8 million Americans voted in the 2020 election. And a record-breaking number of those votes went to President-elect Joe Biden, who received over 78 million votes — roughly 5.5 million more than Donald Trump
Generation Z, who are currently between the ages of 8 and 23, played a significant role in both of these records. NBC exit polls suggest that 65% of those between the ages of 18 and 24 voted for Biden — 11% more than any other age group.
And in states like Georgia and Pennsylvania, young voters proved to be key to Biden's success.
"I've been doing demographic analysis about the changing American electorate for two decades," says Simon Rosenberg, president of NDN (previously known as the New Democrat Network) and the New Policy Institute. "53% to 55% of registered 18 to 29-year-olds appear to have voted. That may be the highest ever recorded in the modern era of politics."
"Both Generation Z and millennials are voting generations," says Brent Cohen, executive director of Generation Progress. "The preliminary data says, in fact, this was the election with the highest turnout rate of young people that we've ever seen."
"Gen Z voters were very enthusiastic about this election," says Karlyn Bowman, senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. "A number of things appeared to be driving young people's level of participation and level of excitement about the campaign and it wasn't Joe Biden, though they certainly like Joe Biden overall. They were voting more against Donald Trump than they were for Joe Biden."

So the topic can be downvoted instead of the post?
What's the difference? That would just devolve into the same thing this post has anyway.

You think posters here would downvote that stance?

So very simply, Gen Z needs to get their asses to work.
One problem for many of the newer generations is the proliferation of useless college majors that have no real value in society. Parents should be steering their kids into majors that will ensure they can live. An Aboriginal Subsaharan African Studies degree won’t pay the bills in all likelihood.

Males shifted right in 2024 and favored Trump.
Gen Z females voted Harris at +24.
That is generally all females in all age groups too.

Agreed. But to this point we haven't divided up by gender.

The biggest mistake boomers made was not setting high expectations for their children and trying hard to be their best friend instead of a good parent. Allowing them to study whatever makes them happy.
Not a boomer thing, but every gen since. It's why young people are the way they are today.

I know investors that own tons of them and they are quite explicit in their control. They monitor activity at the property with camera systems so they can tell when there are parties or loud music.
Cool story, bro.
Congrats on knowing people who actually give a frick and are respectful.
I guess you live under a rock because most people are disrespectful and dgaf.
AirBnBs in residential areas are generally a bad idea and thus regulating them heavily and outright banning them is acceptable.
I'll bet you live in an area that does not allow AirBnBs. Rules for thee but not for me.

To regulate them is fine, to outright ban them is placating hotel developers and owners.
AirBnBs want to be hotels but don't want the same rules. lmao.
Regulate them like a hotel as they are acting like a hotel.

They have an UE rate of ~10%, national average is ~4.4%.
Those numbers are honestly fake though. They are much higher in reality.
That isn’t the issue though.
We are below population rate.
