general OT advice is PIIHB, but it seems a bit late for that

how the frick am I a part of it? He lives with his real dad in an entirely different state. I offered the advice I could: I told him his best option is to keep going to school, provide for the kids, and be part of their lives. I did tell him that I did NOT recommend him getting married to a woman he's not in love with. He asked for some other suggestions, so I came to what I felt it is the best place: the OT.

Friend,
He would say, “Marry the mother of your children before they are born bastards. Then be sure to have them baptized as soon as possible. There is a natural order for love, marriage, and children. Outside that order, all falls apart, but there is forgiveness in the waters of baptism.”

She needs to take a paternity test. If the kids are his, he needs to man up and support them. I wouldn't advise him to marry the girl just to save face. He can still help raise & support them and not be married to her.

What advice are you looking to get? The advice should have been to wear a condom and not date a women with one kid already

all honesty, there's a decent chance they arent his as I doubt a frick buddy who let's him raw dog it probably isnt exclusively sleeping with him. Absolutely get a paternity test before anything horns
From what OP has said in this thread it sounds like he thought he had a frick buddy and she thought she had a life partner.

He needs to find out if the kids are his. They can do genetic testing during pregnancy to see if the twins have any health issues. He also can find out the sex and if he is the father. Exciting!

from what I understand, he can't do that unless another man is willing to step up and adopt or claim responsibility

This should have been disclosed in the very first post. This changes so much of the advice you've been given so far.
