A car now gone probably pushed said car into your car, unfortunate.

So I waited because I could study at the same time, in nopd like fashion when I called after waiting 4 hours... the non-emergency lineoperator told me

"your case was closed because nobody was there and neither vehicle described was at the location. They contacted you and nobody picked up"

In the 4 hours, 2 nopd vehicles passed me up with sirens..not even those undercover ones rolled by. 0 phone calls with max signal.

Now Im told u should have just came in and filed the report and skip the wait since I took pictures.

Truly nopd...

If it's one thing I've learned about body work, it ALWAYS costs more than you think.

I've never been like "man, that's cheap"

It is actually still parked into my bumper,

I can't believe someone would actually do that. Every time I do that I haul arse and find another parking spot.

I was wondering. In Houston they flat out tell you in these circumstances that they will not come out unless someone is hurt, someone is intoxicated or the vehicle is un-driveable. NOPD should of mapped this out when you called.

OT just go home or stay and wait for nopd. Probably costs 300-500 to fix and paint depending on if there was any damage underneath too.

I have a cheap deductible but would hate to wait for police. I would probably just donkey kick their driver's side door, push into the bumper really hard when leaving and be on my way.

report it later.

dealing with a hit and run before, I have gone straight to an office in that district.

the operator was the one who repeatedly told me to stay at my location and someone will be dispatched even though I told her I have the info and all I'm just going to come in. The "someone had just been dispatched to your location" was why I stayed.

Its someone who works at the same place or same area that comes in around 7-8am (per another worker who comes in at that time), the car is always there after me as well. I'm one of three cars who are there at 5am every day.
