Why in the frick do people in the pharmacy drive through line take 20 minutes each to get done at the window? It’s really quite simple. Call in refill or have Dr send in script, when it’s ready, go to window, pay, and leave.

But no. People want to use the drive through line to ask all kinds of fricking questions and take forever. If you have issues, park and walk your fat arse to the back of the store to get help.

It’s been my experience that the drive through line wait isn’t because of the customers, but rather the pharmacy

You should be mad at the pharmacy and not the people there. I swear if Walgreens or CVS just added 1 extra person in pharmacy at all times I would never go to the other. They are always understaffed and it drives me crazy.

From what I have seen, the pharmacy doesn't have enough employees to efficiently run both the drive thru and the walk in counter.

I feel you though. I just go inside, always faster.

I usually go inside for this reason. The other day it took just as long inside.. they've got 12 people working back there and can't handle 3 customers at a time. Let me come back there and count my own Xanax.. shite. I might fudge the numbers though.

It’s usually one of two reasons:

1. The person has some kind of issue with the prescription and refuses to go inside to deal with it.

2. The pharmacy itself is short staffed and taking fricking forever. I’ve had to sit for 15-20 minutes before to wait on someone to come to the window and pull my single script.

Theres a local pharmacist, about 2 .minutes from my Dr. Office. When I walk in my meds ready. Unfortunately my Ins wants me to go to CVS and they slow AF.

Me: Hi I'm here to pick up for ______

Them: Oh, we don't have anything in our system for you.

Me: You called and said I had a prescription ready.

Them: Oh. It was for this location?

Me: Yes.

Them: Let me check again

So you were one of the ones causing the long line at the Walmart today? I had to go inside to the pharmacy and wait behind two old ladies with tons of questions.

Are you under the impressions that these pharmacists and techs are in high supply? I bet if you found a qualified one and brought him or her to your local Walgreens to start working Walgreens would pay you a referral.

I use the CVS app to prepay for our family cripts all the time if they cant be home delivered. 99% of the people in the drive thru lane are probably too dumb to use the app or don't know it can be delivered to their home address for free.

Yeah, I’ve never used the drive thru. Seems way slower.
