Do you have your own land or do you travel out west?
If you said yes to either, rzr xp 4.
If you have a farm to cruise around on, Viking six.
I enjoy our side by sides.

I'd get the boat but it wouldn't be a pontoon. I would like at a Fish and Ski.

FFF
If it Floats, fricks or Flys it's cheaper to rent. That boat will end up being a pain in your arse.

Boat will get used more. Unless you own a bunch of land to go riding on.
Also the boat is fun for everyone. The side by side is only fun for the person driving it.

Get the boat. The whipper snappers will be taking it out with their friends doing keg stands on the bow in just a couple years.

Your kids are at the age where the side by side wouldn't interest them in a family outing. Get a boat.
Have you considered a deck boat? They make some really great ones these days.

2 happiest days of a boat owner's life, the day he buys a boat & the days he sell the boat( speaking from experience)

I've only ever heard this from lazy boat owners and boat owners that didn't use their boat. You're one of those two. I was pissed when I sold mine.

Plus one on the glastron. FIL in gave it to me, and he bought it new in 2005. Never had a problem with it.
ETA: Also buy a bigger boat than you think you will need. By the time you load ice chest, skis, towels, etc, you run out of room quick.

how cute that you actually think "your" vote counts for anything, they just do that to let you think you have some input when the wife decides 100% all by her self, but gives you an opportunity to agree with her choice so you feel like your vote and/or opinion was actually considered

Definitely. I bought a 1995 19 foot four winns bow rider about 10 years ago and we use it all the time. It’s just awfully small. And a bow rider has a really nice look to it, but it’s hard to move around in and gets cramped. Those new deck boats have a much better layout.
I’ve got a friend that has a Tahoe 2150 and it’s made for a family on the water.
