RIP. He was much better as The Saint. Though I liked his Bond movies, I always thought he was too old for the role at the time. Connery was better, but then again, those movies were better as well. Moonraker was horrible.

Moore was my second favorite Bond after Connery.
My dad remembers when they filmed parts of "Live and Let Die" down around Slidell; in particular the boat chase scene.

Connery and Moore were both Bond to me.
I know the books are different but they were cool and funny, as opposed to just action heroes like others played him.
