It is probably ok. As long as blood is bright red you are good. If it turns dark yikes.

I had to have my stone broken up via Ultrasonic pulverization. Nothing like your urine looking like pulpy orange juice for 3 days...

Get them to write you a script for Diclofenac Sodium suppositories. You will have to get them a compounding pharmacy.
I currently have a stent, waiting to get remainder of stone lasered. These suppositories have been a life changer.

If you ever had a kidney stone you'd know that this would be damn near impossible to do. Imagine a 6 inch tall pissed off Tasmanian Devil trying to claw its way out of your gut and you can sort of envision what it feels like. You'd have to be one horny SOB to pull that off.

Irritative voiding symptoms (frequent/urgent urination, feeling like you need to pee and nothing comes out) with discomfort shifting to the lower abdomen /radiating to the head of the penis typically means the stone is encroaching on the bladder/getting close to pass

I had my first and only one so far in November of 2015. I went to bed with a dull nagging soreness in my back thinking it was a pulled muscle and woke up to unbearable pain and being unable to hardly breathe or move. I went to the doctor and he sent me to the ER and they gave me a lot of morphine with was cool and flomax which makes you shoot blanks but opens up your pipes down there. They did the cat scan and all that jazz. I passed it there which was fun.

OP, generally speaking, if the pain keeps coming and going, then it is moving. Are you pissing in a strainer to try and catch it?
And sympathies to you. I wouldn't wish a bad kidney stone on my worst enemy.

Dude, I don't know how bad it feels because I never had them, but one of my BIL is a big dude, real deep voice.. A manly man type dude.. Kidney stones had him crying like a baby.. I hope you pass them soon.

The people fricking with you in this thread have never had a kidney stone. No way you can have one and not be sympathetic to someone who is going through it.

Fun fact: people addicted to pain killers will often go into an ER, claim to have kidney stones, prick their finger to put in the urine sample so blood shows

Buddy of mine has had 3 in the last 2-3 mos. 2 at once, back before Thanksgiving and one just last week. He went to the urologist with the first two (that's how he knew there were two) and they did the scans and stuff. He said his piss looked like ruby red grapefruit juice and he noticed that before any pain, so he was freaked out.
Anyway, all the urologist gave him was ultram.
When the third one came last week he just went to the ER and thy gave him hydrocodone 5mg.
Neither of them helped to amount to shite, obviously. He did notice more pain and discoloration right before he passed them though.
The day he went to the ER, he was in bad shape, pain wise.
Luckily I've never had one, but the toughest man I've ever known, my papaw, has had several through the years though and I've seen them put him down when nothing else ever seemed to even slow him down.
