I've had over 10 stones. I'm 43 and had my first at 25.
Blood in urine is common. In my experience once they get the extreme pain under control it doesn't return. Also the pain is causing muscle spasms which keeps the urethra from relaxing and letting the stone move.
Start drinking as much water as you can stand. It should pass within 2-3 days, although I've had them last a week.
Hang in there. It will pass. Plan on making drinking a lot of water every day part of your life

Probably a much greater chance of getting a Doc here give detailed information about an issue than getting any kind of explanation in the ER.

My dog was peeing blood but it turned out to be a UTI instead of stones. I blame my gf for not letting him clean himself because every time he licks his weiner she says it's gross and yells at him to stop.
Anyway, moral of what story: tell your gf you think it might help if she licks your weiner more often to help keep it "clean"

I don't care how tough a man is, a kidney stone will make him a bitch.

I had one 3 years ago that was the size of a pencil eraser, I had to have a Stent and they broke it up, horrible 3 months.

I passed mine in about 8 hours, but I seriously thought something had burst inside me for a while.

Pain pills will do nothing for the pain.
Tell them to give you an anti inflammatory asap. It will knock the pain out. It's called Tordal(sp) I believe.

The first time I had a stone I thought I was going to die. It is pain like you cannot imagine.

I have never had one so I cannot relate, but they say the pain is on par with giving birth.
The men on the paternal side of my family seem to have a predisposition to getting them, and they and I drink concentrated cherry juice (you can get it at your nearest health food store) as a sort of homeopathic remedy. The acid in the cherry juice breaks them up quite efficiently.

Dude. so sorry for your pain. OT cure is at least positive. Blow jobs. Daily. Tell the GF/Wife. She must swallow as well. Mandatory.

She's just jealous/paranoid. She knows if you could lick your weiner, you'd kick that bitch to the curb.

I've been getting 2-3 a year since I was 31, now 46. I've had blood on multiple occasions, but the worst was on a very large one that took about a month to pass. What's weird is it didn't hurt like some of the others, but it had its moments. I take a flomax, screw the loritab and drink until you pass out. When you wake up to piss, it's going to move.

I read somewhere that drinking lots of beer and jerking off regularly helps pass them.
Get busy!

You guys are goddamn men. From the way it's described on here a kidney stone would turn me into a sobbing pile of dog shite.

Ive only had one stone before... and it was a nightmare. It took 8 days to pass it.
Excruciating pain when it started to move through my urethra. It was about the size of a BB. Pain meds did nothing for me. I did 2 trips to the ER. My DR finally prescribed me to Tordol which helped a lot.
I wish this on no man. Not even my worst enemy.
