My son's phone crapped out, IPhone 11 bought on 10-22-2020, he doesn't know if it got wet or he dropped it blah blah blah

1. 10:00 am We google map a Sprint/TMobile service center (has to be a service center, the regular stores don't fix phones). Pull up the store has moved per sign on door, drive to new location.

Millennial 1 - We don't fix phones you have to go to this store that's 12 miles away.

Millennial 2 - There's a sensor issue but if you go home and do the new update on ITunes it will fix it, back home. 15 or so miles

doesn't work

call service center Millennial 3 - Oh you have to have a Mac to do this sorry. You will have to go to North Park Mall 19 miles away to the Genius Bar.

Off we go Millennial 4 hooks it up at 3:20 pm, at 6 pm they give up but say since the phone is two weeks past one year old they will just give us a new one.

So after 8 hours and 100 miles (going in circles) they do what the first store could have done if these idiots would actually try to think.

You think poor customer service is a millennial thing? Lol

Half those guys probably weren’t even millennials

Genius Bar.

This is what you should learn from your experience. If it’s an apple product, just start and finish there. They will make it right 99% of the time.

Gave him a new phone and sent him on his way.

I bet a large amount of money you didn't interact with any actual millennials on this journey.

People you were dealing with were most likely Zoomers.

Millennials are nearly 40 now.

In fact, the OP is most likely a millennial

The whole “story” seems more an indictment on him (or his son?) than anything.

Of course, I generally find most of these generation arguments hooey.

I was about to ask before reading your post, in what year was the OP born and how old did he think these kids were. He’s probably blaming kids who aren’t millennials.

I was going to go there, but if his son has a phone we're cutting it close. Or maybe my millennial brain has so much old man fog these days I don't understand how young kids are when they get a phone these days.

Look at it like you took an adventure vacation. Not only did you go south of 121, you went south of George Bush. And then you really took your life in your own hands and went south of 635!

Just be thankful you lived to tell the tale.

You know it's bad when the boomers are complaining about the first world problem of the day and only the millennials that can solve them.
