Not sure who actually uses the train or bus (as we are not located in cities that use a train or subway system) or bus either ... but we're grounded for the next 2 weeks, minimum.

I think it is a bit of an overreaction (Coronavirus), but working from home in shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops is perfectly acceptable to me (I travel by plane extensively).

Can we still ride the boss’s wife wherever we need to go?

A woman.

And prior to this, she was and is --- and I am not overstating --- certified reactionary type crazy. Very unpredictable with decisions and often follows a compliment with a backhanded jab.

Great working environment!

Mine stopped all international travel and strongly discouraged domestic travel

Depends. Need pics of the boss's wife to verify it that is a desirable option

Friend of mine works for Pinerest. Last week they shut down all client travel...flights AND local. Some advertising agencies we work with in NYC have gone to half in, half home staffing. Meaning only half of the office comes in one day while the other half works from home and then they switch the next day.

I was downtown in Chicago last week for a meeting at a PR agency and I met a girl I hadn't before. I went to shake her hand and she left me hanging, said they weren't shaking hands with people because of coronavirus

My flights to and from Toronto last week were half to 2/3 empty. It was great.

Wish my boss would do this. I'd get 14 days to hang out in sweatpants and fire off emails/sit on conference calls while playing with my dogs.

All travel for work for my company is voluntary as of last week.

A large portion of us work from home anyway, so it’s business as usual for us.

Company cancelled all foreign travel. That includes US for me. Still travel in province and will have to load up in a germ tube ... Ontario is a big place to far to drive
