I think it would be harder to find a dr who is open today. They are not generally government employees

Government contractor here....sitting at my desk.
MLK holiday is a floating holiday for us, so we can take it any day we want. I prefer to bunch them together and take a few at a time. One day holidays don't help much. I get a lot done at work on days like today....no one's here to bother me.
Oh yeah...I need to get off of TD and get something done...LOL.

Private schools in the south don't have a day off because it's MLK Day. Our day off was always because it was a "teacher inservice day".
