Y'all still talking bout this? If it were a dude and he was banging 2 chicks at the same time some of y'all would be filming it instead of all holy rolling.

This is that insane progressive mindset which says if one person likes something then everyone else must joyfully accept and support it.

frick that. The answer in my house to the initial question about bringing him over for the holidays would have been: "No. Do not bring him here. He has a family of his own he should be with."

It's directly to the point and leaves no wiggle-room for asking about it in the future.

The writer responding that the woman should respect her daughter’s obviously horrific and dumb choices are so on brand for The New York Times. I could have guessed that response without actually seeing it.

That's great, but I don't like Donald Trump because of how well he could take care of my child. I like Donald Trump because of his policies. If that's the way you vote for a politician then you'll be severely disappointed.

People who get all religious on stuff like this are usually the biggest hypocrites.

I’ve already said that I’m aware the Bible seems to favor monogamy.

It doesn't seem to favor monogamy, it out and out favors monogamy. It's pretty damn clear about that.

quote:

That doesn’t make polyamory unbiblical, unchristian, or inherently sinful.

Point to me the scripture or passage condoning, encouraging, celebrating, or propping up of polygamy and/or polyamory as not sinful. Are you kidding me with this?

quote:

The Bible, particularly the NT, seems to favor living a celibate, ascetic lifestyle, but not doing so isn’t sinful.

The Bible doesn't seem to favor that. It favors one man and one woman marriage and being celibate until then. It also doesn't necessarily favor living an ascetic lifestyle, ever hear of the Great Commission?

quote:

Further, calling plural marriage adultery is begging the question, and I think you would have a hard time finding textual biblical support for that position.

You'll have an even harder time finding textual support for polygamy.

I don't think you've really spent much time in the book.

The hilarious thing is the majority of y'all absolutely worship a guy who was into poly-dating.

Excuse me, but when has dating not been poly? You usually date multiple people until you settle on one you want to have a monog relationship with.

Mom needs to put her foot up her "adult" daughter's arse then tell her adulterous boyfriend to frick off.

Then you dont know much about Carter, I would be just the opposite. They say you can tell a lot about a persons character by how they treat those below them. Carter treated staff like dirt, and was more dispised by the secret service than Hillary Clinton, they loved Trump.
