I could easily go see how many grams I use and look at my kettle to see what the optimal temp range it has but what’s the point? If I was lying I could easily look up answers online to bullshite you. Anyone who makes their own coffee like me knows that there is no exact right answer to how best make a cup - various factors go into what’s best for your particular situation. So while everyone has their own methods and you can find general guidelines out there, it’s up to everyone to experiment for themselves to find the best method that works for you.

Any of you Baton Rouge baws try Titan Coffee? It’s a small batch roaster in Baton Rouge. Had a buddy send me a few bags and it’s legit.

When you’re traveling do you carry all this stuff in your purse?

My coffee: hot, caffeinated, black
Yours: don’t care
The French press and Chem ex are great, but they take too long. I just want coffee. And during the work week, I’m just getting a cup to go anyway. I might bust out the other hardware on the weekends.
I don’t get the hate for Kuerigs. It’s literally the same scientific process as a standard coffee maker.

I buy the whole bean breakfast blend or Louisiana reserve from community.
Grind my coffee for a French drip while camping or for a mr coffee at home.
Keurigs have their place in the world, but not in the Roeauxs residence.

You should spend some of your coffee money in updating your kitchen counters

LOL, OP doesn't even roast his own beans.

I tried that method step by step that the coffee guy in the F&D Board talked about but it was such a fricking hassle I went back to a normal coffee pot.
Plus the coffee tasted like shite.

Why didn't he include his knee pads in the photo with all his coffee equipment?

Depends. If I’m going somewhere where there’s local fresh bean brewers then no. If not, I bring it with.

I drink Community dark roast from a Mr Coffee. I'm fancy too.
