Your laughter betrays your emptiness. My wife and I started with nothing but each other, and that was all that we needed. We raised a great family, and along the way we made a bunch of money. Now it’s just the two of us with more money than we will ever need,

He needs to sign on the dotted line.

Can a prenup outline child support / allimony if any?
Also child custody rights?
Might be a chance to go all in
Alimony yes.
Child support/custody typically not. At most a judge might take it under consideration but it really doesn’t have any teeth as a binding agreement. “Best interests of the child” and all that.

why should she lose half her money?
She would only lose half of what was generated during the marriage. They could divorce the day after she receives her inheritance and he wouldn't see a dime of that, prenup or no prenup.

Sounds like a great incentive on his side to not screw up the marriage. I'd sign it.

Maybe they should both be signing prenups here If they’re individually bringing wealth into the marriage.

Most likely not her that initiated this or is pushing it, but he needs to go ahead and sign it. Her father and their attorneys are just looking out for the best interest of his daughter. The guy will live like a king and the prenup will probably never be needed but if it is she will be protected. Hell there is probably wording in there as to what he will get if they split, maybe it’s nothing or maybe it will be a nice severance package. If I had daughters I would do the same thing and will probably do the same with my sons.
