It's actually pure fact that there has not been one person shot while laying on the ground in an active shooter situation in the USA in the last 10 years. What do you say to that? How do you think we have all these injuries from gsw's and none of them are shot in the head point blank?
I never said not to run, my point was to the fact people said playing dead didn't work. In certain situations it does.

If y'all could have some decency and not immediately turn this into a political argument and dick measuring contest about how fast you think you'd draw and drop him in a potentially crowded area with civilians running around and have an ounce of compassion and focus on the people injured and possibly still in immediate danger. Grow the frick up

Yes, trauma designations are granted by the American Trauma Society in cooperation with the AMA. Level one is the highest meaning they can respond to multiple and varying traumas at one time.

I agree with you that it would have to be the right situation and at that point it's just chance, but I thin what he was pointing out is that someone would be more hesitant to to start shooting with the possibility of someone near also having a gun.
