Muses is GROSSLY overrated

Slow moving parade packed with stingy riders. They get all of the hype because of those shoes and it's certainly a very nice looking parade, but it sucks. Bunch of old biddies with their backs turned to the crowd not throwing anything.
Cleopatra and Iris are the top tier all-female Krewes.

Things change. Muses used to be awesome and Iris was embarrassing bad
But Muses has gotten fat and lazy, and Iris got new leadership and completely reinvented itself.

Cleopatra needs a few years of consistency before being in Iris' category.
Prior to this year, they seemed to always have problems on route with floats hitting trees or tractors breaking down.
They're also relatively new to the "superkrewe" game and have benefitted the most from Nyx's collapse.

It's taken Cleo a while to adjust to life on the east bank... but they are starting to figure it out.

Iris is best women’s parade Cleopatra has come on strong. Muses is highly overrated and a product of preferential media coverage it is not even in top 10 of Mardi Gras parades. The real parades start tonite

Moving the start of parade from Jefferson to Napoleon seemed to alleviate a lot of their issues, this year.

If a parade consistently ends after midnight, something is not right. No one wants to do that at midnight or 1 am.

It’s one of 3 parades that’s supposed to pass in front of our place on Tchoup near Lucy’s. We have friends over and although it’s not our favorite and they think highly of themselves they’re usually generous to the kids. This year’s parade was beyond pathetic. We’ve come to expect see Mardi Gras’ worst looking floats but this year almost all the bands had dropped out, maybe because it was going on midnight before they started to pass. The women looked like they had never been in a parade before and had nothing to throw. Give us Nyx back..
