A Pennsylvania man upset over losing his job due to the coronavirus pandemic shot his girlfriend and then killed himself in an attempted murder-suicide.

I’m sure there are a lot of people out there on edge who lost their job.

Cases like this will increase.

States are already seeing increases in both domestic violence and child abuse.

That will worsen as people’s stress levels rise over this whole situation.

This the same as 'did they have preexisting conditions?'

Don't normalize this.... please don't, so he killed her too? Seems to me that there was more than just the COVID going on here.

I’m not a resister of the distancing, but I’ve said from day one that so many children will suffer. They already had an abusive home but school was their safe haven of normalcy, meals and probably the most love they ever get. Now they’re trapped at home in a living hell, probably not being fed well or at all, with a parent who is likely more abusive because of stress of situation. It breaks my heart for anyone suffering from abuse at home right now.

Grow up! Him not you. Been off for 6 weeks now and still haven’t started unemployment. Had to have other issues going on.

If only the media would report the amount of deaths that were caused by a direct result from their nonstop, around the clock doom and gloom fear mongering.

Those deaths (murders, suicides, etc.) will greatly outweigh the amount of deaths from the virus.
