There's a lot of people posting here will willingly do whatever the CDC says. Scary.
I can't take the thousands of highly educated scientists seriously when I know that MelGibsonNews disagrees.

Nobody. Literally nobody. It's YOUR weak strawman argument, chief. You support it.

Why is that?

Because it was a deep state hoax. Iron lungs and all.

Wait. Are you saying this to defend why people shouldn't take vaccines?

They haven't gotten polio because there is a vaccine for it you big dumb mother fricker.

and technically none of them are qualified to make those recommendations. they are not experts on the immune system nor are they experts on the elemental makeup of the vaccines.
They learned a hell of a lot more about immunology in their schooling than you did, I would bet.

They dont know shite about them other than they make lots of money pushing them.
You… you think pediatricians are rolling in the dough because of vaccines?

My doc strongly suggested the covid vaccine too. I have no respect for her now either.
Are you fat? I definitely recommended it to my fat patients. Aside from fat, diabetic, or lung/heart disease it was very hard to predict during the first waves who would get really sick and who would do fine (original wave, omicron, delta, 2020-2022ish). I certainly recommended it back when mortality/morbidity was quite high. This is coming from someone who was very skeptical about taking it himself before looking into the studies.
Now I recommend the flu shot but not necessarily covid unless you’re old or in the above classes. Young and healthy? Probably don’t need it. For most now it’s like the common cold and also less severe than influenza.
That said, almost every negative effect seen with Covid (myocarditis, blood clots, etc) was found in multiple large studies to be far more prevalent and more severe with the disease than with the vaccine. Pick your poison- based on underlying health and risk tolerance. I respect a patient’s autonomy to choose, I’m just here to inform.

I really hope this board is an outlier of society
It’s a massive outlier. It’s the rightward outlier to Reddit’s leftward lean. Most patients care about what I have to say as a physician, and never once have I had a patient call me a shill for big pharma or any such nonsense.

I dont understand why children have what seems to be twice as many shots than what I got as a child

All proved that they will tow the line. Dont blame the public for not trusting "the science" after all those institutions willingly trashed their own credibility during covid

Scream at me all you want to...but I dont believe it. I think youll parrot whatever the accepted line is...until its no longer the accepted line
My cousin who is a doc in Atl was all gung ho about vaccines...until her perfectly healthy baby became a statistic after a round of shots

None of the linked studies support a causal inference.

You’re just trying to distract people from all the french benefits doctors get from big pharma.

Big Pharma or even Lil Pharma could get a lot out of me if they were plying me with prime Bridgett Bardot.
