We have hits now in broad daylight on a well travelled BR street at our largest mall, across from a very prominent hospital and near one of our best hotels.

The people who put Broome in office and who are keeping her there should be ashamed of themselves. In five years we have seen record numbers of homicides with very little being done to control the gangs who are dealing death every day in our parish.

My car flooded in Katrina and my parents got me a new one without consulting with me. They got me a malibu and I cried (I’m a girl) and now when they tell the story they call it the maliboohoo lol

Such blatant disregard for mall landscaping, standing on the sign like that.

It’s shocking that it involves exactly who you think it involves.

I am in Bluebonnet Terrace nearby and didn't hear a thing. I drove by it maybe 15 minutes earlier. A very unlikely spot and time.

That’s what is troubling. The liberal solution is to let these animals run wild. I’ll bet every single person involved in this shooting, dead and alive, has a rap sheet.

And it will only get worse. Every day there is less and less incentive for police officers to remain on the job or people to fill the jobs. The government of EBR has shown they will support the rights of criminals over the desire to live in a safe city. One, where the citizens would hope to be able to drive along a major road without fear of being caught in the crossfire of people who literally don't care if and how many people they kill. At some point the law abiding people, of all races, just leave.

In 3 of Broome's first 4 year term BR posted three of the highest murder totals ever. She was re-elected. In year 1 of her second term BR had the most homicides, by a wide margin, in the history of the city/parish. She DOES.NOT.CARE. nor do those under her. Just pay your taxes to continue to fund the grift.

Not trying to create speculation, but from what i’ve heard it’s cause of a drug deal gone wrong. Could be something else however

We don't say "gang related" because that describes organization, we use the term "group related."

Hurts people's feelings.

If the citizens truly hoped to be able to do that, they'd stop doing dumb shite like electing the incumbent mayors in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Enough people willingly voted for a continuation of the last 4 years in these cities.

Remember when the Mall management said no to being incorporated to St George?

I do.

Enjoy your liberal overlords

Considering a “rapper” was involved, I’ll bet he simply “dissed” someone. You’re dealing with sub-humans here. Drug deal gone wrong gives them too much credit.
