I wonder when that happened. There is no time in the article, but in the picture it's still dark. I passed there around 5:50 this morning and it was all clear.

I’ve worked basically on campus for a year now and just noticed this week that it was called South Quad.

I didn’t realize street name changed (haven’t been on campus in awhile) and don’t get reasoning behind using South Quad right there. Is there a North Quad street or road somewhere around LSU?

They've were trying to make South Quad a thing for a bit but I think it may have faded. It's around the business buildings.

Hearing from people who would know that the bike was going well over 100 mph at impact. The deceased in the car is a female LSU student who just happened to be in the very wrong place at the wrong time.

My daughter knew the motorcycle driver. It was not his bike. Borrowed from a friend…. Tragic.

I just saw the 23 year old's name. A few google searches show his mom died less than a year ago in her own motorcycle accident.

My daughter told me that as well. Just awful all the way around. Her boyfriend was the victims best friend and is selling his bike….
