what if he was going 15 over?
Dillon would be alive and likely not even injured.
Bohdi would likely have survived if he missed the car when thrown off the bike.

It's not easy to see motorcycles at night.
Or frankly any time of the day, especially if there's a slight bend in the road

The dash came video of this just popped up on my Instagram reels. Dude was going waaaay to fast for that area.

I’ve driven over a million miles in 32 years and never had an accident.
The two closest were driving on interstate and changing lanes when a motorcycle flew by me going 30+ mph faster than me. Maybe would have been partially my fault but the motorcycle definitely was the origin and bigger factor. Especially at night like everyone mentions.

It is awful in New Orleans. It's time to bring back the red light cameras
They are gone?

She didn't yield to right of way and failed to stop at a red light.

Speed of the motorcycle didn't cause the accident. Her running a red light did. The alleged speeding caused fatalities.
I mean if he wasn't going triple the speed limit he never would have been there in the intersection at that time to begin with nor would he have turned his motorcycle into a missile causing a fireball.

She had a blinking turn arrow. Meaning she could turn if safe. He was well in excess of speed limit at night coming out of a curve. She couldn’t have seen him in time to react. Her pause is when she saw him and then tried to get out of the way. Had he been going 50 which is still over the speed it would t have happened. Going well over 100 caused the wreck

We need someone to go to the intersection and take a video to show how the lights cycle
The dash cam video looks like the turn arrows were a solid color ( I assume red). When they are yellow do they flash/blink?

I think this is exactly what happened.

Video doesn’t show a blinking light (unless it is out of frame?)

We know what happened. This thread has devolved into placing blame on dead people.
RIP. Tragic mistakes.

You shitting me. If he's going the speed limit he'd have been able to avoid her. And you're not expecting someone to come around that curve doing 100+.. on a motorcycle... at night. She didn't see him until it was too late.

Everyone is saying she had a red light.

It is out of frame. People saying she had a red light because they see red lights are looking at the two non-turning lane lights. You cannot see her light.
Now it's possible she did have a red light, but much more likely she had either a green arrow or one of those new yellow arrows. Or just a solid green. If so, she's required to yield but could easily misjudge his rocket-like speed.

This guy was going to die sooner rather than later if his brain thinks it's safe to drive around like that through a place like LSU's campus. What an absolute low IQ retard.

Can’t argue this. Too bad he had to take someone else out with him.

Then add in whoever owns that road to be partially at fault. That’s way too low a posted speed and probably gave the driver a fse sense of security
You win the award for the most idiotic post of the day.
the day? that might top 2025 so far for me.
