And lunchbox - there are always exceptions but most pediatricians do not recommend tv for children under 2

There’s been more research concerning television viewing and it’s affect on small children than there was for the Covid vaccine

ETA: plus, lunchbox, I’m sympathetic to your situation - I used to work at a school for special needs kids - and you should know more than anyone that just bc it works for your child, doesn’t mean it works for all children

Most parents plop their kids in front of something to entertain them instead of just talking to them

Who else fast forwards through the gender neutral guy/girl part?

But yeah, when my mind started going "if you say up, the ____ will go up" during the workday, I knew it was a problem

same

Rule in our home is at 2yo they are allowed to watch saints LSU pelicans and we skip commercials.

They can listen to train stories on Audible or Danial tiger songs on Pandora through the smart speaker if they need some entertainment

That’s funny. We had some friends over recently and the guys were commenting on how the husband’s got to have a cuck chair in their bedroom

Yep. My daughter loved that when she was little. That one helped a bunch as well with my son.
