I am still annoyed that the one near LSU was replaced by a stupid Newks Eatery.
Why would any decent student body substitute a 1970’s projector screens and cheap pizza for overpriced salads and bland sandwiches?

Newks Q and the Basil Chicken are good but they haven't had the Pesto and goat cheese in a long time so....meh at the place.

Is Newk’s that stupid Memphis based chain? I hated that place when I lived there.

I was there the last day they were open at LSU. I remember thinking it wasn't that great.
I then moved to SWLA and my wife loves Gattis. I have eaten a handful of times in LC and Jennings.
Got to say, its not that great.

I lived in the Pentagon my freshman year. That Gatti's kept me alive when I ran out of dining hall meals.

Using accumulated Paw Points at Gatti’s and loading up on cheap pizza after fasting all day is a vivid memory for me.
And it warms my heart to know that the OT recognizes how lame Newk’s was/is.

Hold up. That's not accurate. That may be buffet price or the single topping is $11 a piece. More toppings makes it more expensive.
Dominos I bet is about the same price if not cheaper for single topping Large.
Gattis Sampler and Meats is $17 a piece. I just looked it up.

The old gattis campus location had the pizza buffet and salad bar for $4.99 with a coupon. We would wear that thing out back in the early/mid 90’s.

I used to hate Dominos. But they’ve since decided to make their pizza not taste like a box. They are okay now.

I was on the swim team, we had the projector room reserved every Sunday night and we would all go watch the simpsons and eat 20 pieces of pizza. I’d play some video poker too once I turned 21
