OT,
I got accepted a job in Tallahassee, FL with AECOM as an Entry Environmental Scientist. I am currently in Ridgeland, MS living in an apartment. When I do move out to Tallahassee in the near future, I would be interested in buying a house out there. I am looking for a 2 bedroom with 1 or 2 bath. I am a 27-year-old single guy moving out there. I appreciate any help/info on realtors in the area, good places to live in Tallahassee / places to avoid, and other good advice to go by during the whole process. Thanks for the feedback yall.

I don’t know about that but those girls are about that age. To think they’re in their late 30’s now, if you’re correct.

The hooters on Monroe Street is my second favorite after Ft. Myers.

Man I have no clue where to live but you’ll love it. I lived there for grad school and it was awesome. I lived off Monroe near I10. That was almost 20
Years ago on a grad student budget.

Last time I was in Tallahassee, this ho I knew named Kathy got busted with some birds. Then she had the audacity to claim that the aforementioned birds belonged to me. I never returned because random inmates kept trying to hold their nuts on me.

It’s a cool town. The further north you take Thomasville rd, the whiter it gets is my experience. You’ll have fun

Lots of cool places in midtown. Stay north of Appilachee parkway. Newer stuff is all north of I-10 toward bradfordville.

Tallahassee is a cool town.

Two bedroom two bath would be better. If you need to sell later it would be more marketable.

Rent for a year or two. Think there will be a market drop.

Never buy a house with 1 bath. Better for resale

Tallahassee is remarkably similar to Baton Rouge. Similar size, the state capitol, a state university, on I-10, small airport. I live less than an hour away but really don't know it that well. But yeah, there are areas to avoid. I'd look outside of Capitol Circle to the northeast (main growth area), or to the east or maybe south. It depends on where your job is. If it's down on the coast often you could look as far south as Crawfordville. It's starting to boom with Tallahassee commuters and Wakulla county has some advantages over Leon county IMO. For a single guy you are probably better not too far from Tallahassee, though. It's a decent place.
