I know I know, it's overcrowded, full of liberals, and traffic is a nightmare. Having said that, I have family close by and the opportunity for a better job.

I'm starting to look for areas to live and I don't know enough about living in the city to know where to go. The job will be in far West Austin, just north of the Barton Creek Habitat Preserve.

I'm looking to rent, not buy, and I'm not on OT baller. I'd like to keep the budget around 1500.

For $1500 I think you’ll have to settle for a pull out sofa

The cost of Austin is greatly exaggerated. The "cool" areas are expensive, but you can live in the city for a reasonable price.

I've been in Dallas the last 4 years. My hatred of the Cowboys has grown 10 fold.

6th street is pretty shitty now.

In avoid it when I go to the town.

Rainey district more fun and much cleaner

I think it's entertaining as hell, it's like the Clampetts bought a football team and no matter how much money Jed throws at it, the more he meddles the more inept they get, Jones may be a great businessman but he's a football buffoon
