This would be ideal. I'll look in the area.

Hyde Park is a great area. It has its own identity and charm and tons of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc. Very centrally located too. I lived in that area for several years until I moved to my current house in Clarksville. I like the idea of living in a neighborhood. I feel safer and I enjoy interacting with my neighbors.

East 4th for 1750 a month. Moved here 8 months ago and wanted to be close to work. Will be expanding my living radius to drop below 1500 soon if possible. Lots going on in the city. Ton of LSU folk as well.

I moved right off of 360 and i pay about 1200 for a nice place

not much going on around here though, i'll probably leave when my lease is up. it's pretty, and quiet, but you have to drive to get to anything.

I'd suggest looking in the Barton Hills neighborhood. It's a quiet neighborhood but you're also close enough to walk to downtown, zilker, Barton Springs, green belt, etc. You'd also have an easier drive to work than you would from Hyde Park. If you look around, you should be able to find something to rent around or under $1500.

Living in Hyde Park and working near Bee Cave is not ideal.

Oh sweet. I’d move to around Round Rock where Dell is.

Have you designed and coded apps?

South congress is a great area. South of the river/downtown and north of 290. Easy access to Bee Cave and a 10 minute or less drive to downtown.

The poster who advised you to live on the same side of the river that your work is located on is 100% spot on.

Plenty of apartments in the vicinity of Rundberg and Lamar, even westward toward Metric.

1500 is enough for a decent Apt west of the loop. 620 area would be a good spot.

I think it's entertaining as hell, it's like the Clampetts bought a football team and no matter how much money Jed throws at it, the more he meddles the more inept they get, Jones may be a great businessman but he's a football buffoon

This is the only thing that matters really. Its a business that hes got a yuuuuuuuuuuge return on. The entertainment that he provides with his team has been mediocre. It really is baffling with how much money he has and doesn't put it into winning though. I have family that works for the Cowboys, they do appreciate the Jones family for what they do and how they treat employees.
