People moving to where I live: Don't bring your crappy ideals and mess up our ways of life because you didn't do a great job where your fleeing!

quote:

Our rent in L.A. was $1,500 for a tiny, 650-square-foot apartment with no amenities," says Brown, 29, a native New Yorker, actress and New York University graduate. She and Shuman, a 28-year-old musician, began looking at Austin, Detroit, Portland, Oregon, and Columbus, Ohio, before settling on Atlanta.

"There's a great arts community here [in Atlanta], and it's a growing city with lots of entrepreneurs," said Brown, who is now working several jobs and plans to open a business. Also, the dollar stretches much further in their new city, giving them breathing room.

quote:

Brown and Shuman are part of a wave of people migrating from coastal cities to "secondary" cities - drawn by a lower cost of living, lighter tax burden, job growth and a better chance to buy a home they can afford.

Nashville, Sacramento, Atlanta, Phoenix, Austin and Dallas are among the top-10 cities with the largest influx of new residents, according to new data from the Redfin real estate brokerage.

Not surprisingly, high-cost cities from which people are fleeing include San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles and Washington.

DON'T MOVE HERE! FIX YOUR OWN PLACE FIRST!

That is all. Thank you.

They can vote too, so whatever liberal policies they enacted in their home cities will be brought up in the new cities

What do the places they’re moving to have in common? Places they’re leaving? Just can’t put my finger on it

Oh, I know. That’s what I was alluding to.

“Muh rents too high because of policies we’re in favor of. Let’s move to Atlanta and vote for those same policies.” Rinse and repeat.

Apparently 80 people per day are moving to Collin County Texas, that's north Dallas for the ones who don't know.

It's been this way for years

The best thing about being from Louisiana is that you don’t have to worry about people moving here.

But in no way does this imply they're who you think they are. They're transplanting from counties all over Texas, including Dallas County. As well as all states, not just Cali.

Why does he and every politician from the county level to Austin work tirelessly in luring Cali HQ's to Texas and brag about its boost to the economy then?
