You’re right. The obesity epidemic began in the mid-1990s when processed foods began to take over Americans’ diets. The 1980s was the last decade when most meals were prepared in the home.

What is this like and how do you know you get it off and on? Can you tell when your fatty liver is 'on'?

Whack-a-mole here we come.

Record number of heart failure and in skinny people.

Trying to outsmart life’s chemistry won’t end well.

Funny how many conservatives come on here and whine about these drugs. Less fatties = lower medical costs.

I know this is going to get me yelled out of the OT. . . But the vast, vast majority of people who received any of the COVID vaccines available in the US are absolutely fine.

A lot of people don't have enough self discipline to follow a diet. This is a very good way for them to lose weight, the problem is the expense. Trump talked about lowering drug prices a month ago, let's hope he starfts with these lifesavers!

It would be even funnier if we had a way of knowing how many of these folks whining about "taking the easy way out" are on metformin, lisonopril, and other drugs for their own holistically preventable lifestyle-related conditions.

lucky for you, you can’t ‘become’ retarded if you’re already retarded

The types of food have a great deal to do with it. High Fructose Corn Syrup is pretty hard on the liver. Might want to try a low carb diet for a while and see if things don't improve. You might be surprised by how many "healthy" foods are laden with seed oils and corn syrup.

Without a lifestyle change, I can’t see a long term improvement in the lives of people who use drugs to lose weight. To maintain a certain weight, the amount of energy that is used by the body must equal the amount that is being consumed. Anyone who thinks they can eat all they want with a pill is going to be sorely disappointed.
